I really felt heard by my Otis vet
Sometimes when you go into the vet's office, they don't listen to the whole story. But I was able to talk about Ava's whole experience with my Otis vet and they walked me through everything about Apoquel.

A convenient and reliable source for dog's flea & tick medication
I really needed a convenient and reliable source for my pet's medicine. A source that was attentive and committed as much to pet parents as much as they are to the pet. I have had Otis going on my 2nd year and I absolutely love them.

How do I get started with Otis?

To get started, simply create a pet profile on our platform, select the type of vet visit you need, and provide relevant details about your pet's health and medical history. A licensed veterinarian will review the information and provide a treatment plan.

How much does a vet visit cost?

We charge a one-time vet visit fee of $5 per pet for flea, tick, or heartworm visits and $40 for allergy and itchy skin consults. This fee allows our licensed veterinarians to assess your pet and provide a treatment plan.

Does the vet visit fee include the cost of medication?

The vet visit fee covers the veterinarian's time and expertise. It does not include the cost of medication.

What types of flea, tick, and heartworm medications do you offer?

We offer all major flea and tick medications, including popular brands like NexGard, Bravecto, Simparica Trio, and Revolution.

Do you provide flea and tick treatments for cats?

Yes, we offer flea and tick treatments for cats, available in both topical and chewable forms.

Is there a separate charge for each pet during a vet visit?

Yes, we charge a vet visit fee for every pet.

How long does it take to receive a prescription?

Our licensed veterinarians review the information submitted same day. Once the vet visit is complete, a prescription will be provided, and medication can be shipped directly to your door by our pharmacy.

How do I receive my pet's medication?

Once a veterinarian prescribes the necessary medication, we ship it directly to your door. Most customers receive their medication on a monthly basis, and shipping is streamlined for convenience.

Why do I need to weigh my pet?

It's important to provide an accurate weight for your pet for our veterinarians to prescribe the right medication. Most medications are prescribed based on your pet's current weight. You can weigh smaller pets using a household scale by first weighing yourself and then weighing yourself while holding your pet. For larger pets, we recommend using a pet scale or visiting your vet or local pet store to get an accurate weight. For more detailed instructions, visit this guide.

Can I use Otis for multiple pets?

Yes, you can use Otis for multiple pets and manage all of their medication in one place.

What if my pet's condition doesn't improve after treatment?

If your pet's condition does not improve, you can contact our team at hello@otisforpets.com for our veterinarians to reassess the treatment plan and explore other available treatment plans. We are here to help ensure your pet's health improves.
